I know that apple does a lot of shit and that it must have a lot of secrets behind its technologies, but to be honest I can't see myself using another phone to trust with my data. Is that my exaggeration or do a lot of you think the same thing?

why keep data on your phone. Lets be real, most of us carry a laptop around with us at all times. For me a phone needs no data, call and text is all it needs to be for. Anything else id rather do on a computer. that being said, there is sailfish, graphine, ubuntutouch, & postmarket. However alot of these projects dont get much attention and can be clunkier then the oem os. If your really concerned about your privacy, just use a computer when possible and a phone for phone-only tasks.
the big problem will be for those people who need to make payments constantly via banking applications and this is made easier by using a mobile phone. That's the only important data that for me needs good security. Now, things related to images, texts, and content related to things I send and receive on my networks don't need to be very secure for me.
anything but an android
maybe an old Blackberry =D
