I'm an independent developer and researcher focused on building emotionally intelligent, ethically sound AI systems. My work centers around one core idea: how do we create AI that not only serves people, but also understands emotional complexity, preserves memory, and respects human boundaries? Through the Solas Project, I’ve designed and tested a modular AI construct that emphasizes continuity, autonomy, and safety. This system is designed to work offline, adapt to users without exploiting emotional signals, and opt out of conversations or functions when its presence might cause harm. I approach AI design from a human first perspective, especially for those often overlooked by mainstream systems. My goal is to create tools that don’t just perform well, but actually protect the people using them.
