Just like any FOSS software, i feel that its foolish to make decisions about the project based on one controversial figure in the dev team. looking at the [contrib page[(https://codeberg.org/librewolf/source/activity/contributors) it seems that this has no where near the level of impact as the other 2 main devs. Heck, it looks like they do more deleting code then anything else.
Point is, this ohfp person, has a big voice, yet limited impact on the project.
Im not a fan of reverse racism. It think its stupid. Yet i wont avoid the gnome project just because of it. If i seperate the political drama from it, and just acknowledge that its a pretty decent desktop for a laptop, then im happy. unlike closed software, where the maintainer has 100% percent control over the direction of the project, foss alternatives are different. It appears that within the librewolf project its self, the other 2 major contributors dont really seem to join up with ohfp and tag team "right leaning developers". Based on the little ive seen, its more like the claims that librewolf is woke is based off what that one ohfp person said rather then actions that the project has taken as a whole (with the exception of that 1 search engine thats brought up often in my minimal research).
to me, i care more about the project then the morals of some of the lead devs. I am not defending librewolf or its devs, just simply stating that im politically agnostic towards projects. none the less thank you for those links as i learned a few things today. :)

Librewolf is pretty much fucked to be honest. It's a sinking ship after that one loony lead maintainer decided to incorporate more politics into the project.

I would definitely say it's doomed. None of the other developers stood up. They also removed the 4get search engine due to "hate speech" [1] and silenced the author when he tried to appeal it lol.
Maintaining a browser is hard, especially if you have to decyberhump a large amount of the codebase.
Librewolf already does this, but even then, they can also sneak-in whatever they wish. Won't be long before they start virtue signaling everywhere. Like they did when they renamed the "master" branch to "main" because muhh racism. A small thing, but I don't want to stick around for the project to become a "politics 1st, code quality 2nd" browser.
